Welcome to St. Nicks
Welcome to St Nick's, we are part of the Church of England and we love to pray, sing and be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit upon our lives.
On Sunday mornings, in normal times, we gather together in worship and prayer, often to be challenged, inspired and encouraged in our daily lives and to catch up over a good brew.
We are always happy to have visitors- all of our services are child-friendly! Please do feel that you can come over with little ones- we have story bags, baby change area, buggy parking and and Anna our Children's Youth and Families worker (CYFW) is with us every other week.
We currently have an open-sided marquee on our church lawn - please get in touch if you'd like to use this lovely outdoor space.
Our Summer schedule of services until the end of September is as follows:
1st Sunday 10am Informal Worship (CYFW)
2nd Sunday 10am Together @ The Table Informal Communion
7pm Pudding & Praise- Puddings and discussion
3rd Sunday 10am Morning Praise (CYFW)
4th Sunday 10am Bible Study & Coffee
3pm Traditional Communion (Dementia-Friendly, a shorter service with refreshments)
5th Joint Service 10am Alternating between St Paul's in Quarndon and St Nick's.
We are also continuing to hold a 'zoom' live prayer and chat service at 11.30am each Sunday morning for those unable to be present.
Please keep an eye on the latest newsletter, webpages, noticeboards and social media for details of additional events and services.
We have good level access for those who need help with mobility- just follow the signs from the church car-park. There is a loop system, car-park, lots of loos and a baby changing area. We have plenty of space for buggies and pushchairs too.
Here is a map of where we are, just a few miles north of Derby city centre.
