The Church is Open for Private Prayer

St Nick's Chapel will be open for individual prayer by appointment on the following days:

Monday Afternoons 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm
Monday Evenings 7pm, 8pm
Wednesday Mornings 9am, 10am, 11am
Wednesday Afternoons 2pm, 3pm, 4pm ,5pm
Saturday Mornings 9am, 10am, 11am, 12noon

Each session will be for 50 mins, please enter through the car-park lobby doors, turn right into the Choir Vestry. You will need to sanitise your hands and write down your contact details which will be held by us for 21 days. Follow the one way system into the Chapel (not the Main Church). Exit via the Chapel exterior door, come back through the lobby doors, through the lobby and exit into the car-park.

ACT- Allestree Churches Together is an ecumenical group of local Christians who worship in and around the Allestree area. 

Churches pay an annual subscription to be a member church and include the following churches:

Church of England: St Nicholas' Allestree, St Paul's Quarndon, St Edmund's Allestree & St Matthew's Darley Abbey

Methodist: St John's Methodist, Allestree Methodist Church.

Roman Catholic: Holy Family

Baptist: Broadway Baptist

Woodlands Independent Evangelical Church

Each church has a lay representative that is part of the Churches Together standing committee. The committee plan joint events for churches to participate during the year including a joint service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, litter picks on Allestree Recreation ground, Joint Lent Lunches and Lent Groups, Good Friday services and Carol Singing at Park Farm Shops, Holiday at Home and the Advent Quiet Evening.
